Jon's Ego (in print form!)

These are clips from the short film Boy and Bicycle, the first movie ever shot by Ridley Scott. The boy in the film is played by Scott’s younger brother, Tony, who killed himself yesterday, apparently after learning he had an inoperable brain tumor. Both Scotts, of course, went on to become famous directors. The music in this video, edited as a tribute to Tony by YouTuber John Tassy, is the Hans Zimmer score to my favorite Tony Scott movie, True Romance.

This video is beautiful and incredibly sad.
