This is devastating news, because I was counting on Jon Bershad to write the November 7th Mediaite cover story on me being elected President.
Jon is responsible for something like 90% of the press coverage my campaign has received. Who will write about me now?
In all seriousness, I have heard rumors that Jon is leaving Mediaite to work on a book about my campaign. If this is true, I will cooperate fully. (Sal Gentile is also rumored to be working on a book about me, but I am NOT cooperating with it, as it is 60% hatchet job and 40% love letter to the FEC.)
