Something I Noticed in the Doctor Who Premiere

So, Cathleen and I watched the Doctor Who premiere and there was something odd I noticed at the beginning.

Anyway, the whole episode, I was expecting there to be some time travel nonsense where the ending was going to go back to the beginning. That’s because, in the first scene on the mothership, Amy asks the Doctor what they’re going to do and he says “You have to make them remember you” which seemed like an awfully odd line in the context.

Since they didn’t return to it, I have to assume that it’s going to be like the fifth season trickery where Amy had a conversation with the Doctor only for us to realize at the finale that this was a future Doctor come back to give her advice.

Presumably, this whole “remember you” thing is in relation to all the Daleks forgetting the Doctor and will also be a part of whatever storyline brings a (human) Jenna-Louise Coleman back on the show to be the new companion.

Fun stuff.

ps. This entire post might really have just been a pretext for me to get a chance to say that Jenna-Louise Coleman is very, very pretty.
