While watching part of the Ravens game last night, I was reminded of one of the most interesting thing I noticed at recent Beige shows.
Kristy wrote a sketch that takes place on a plane. Towards the end, someone mentions that the plane is headed for Baltimore. Unless I’m completely mistaken, Kristy didn’t, in any way, intend for that to be a laugh line. However, all three times we’ve performed that sketch (once in New York, once in Philadelphia, and once in Boston) the audience has cracked up as if it’s the funniest thing ever.
To them, the very idea of people choosing to go to Baltimore is a hilarious joke.
That is some seriously bad PR, Baltimore.
