News crews cream their jeans to show these live car chases and why? Is one man stealing a car news that the country needs to know about? Absolutely not. But they show them because they know it’s dramatic and we all know why people are watching. Everyone’s just hoping for something terrible to happen.

Then they get all self-righteous when it actually does.
