Getting Food with a Roommate

• Jon: ...and then the guy was like, "We should buy drinks for those girls." And I thought, "You know what? We probably should. I'm still not gonna do it though."
• Rusty: Absolutely not.
• Jon: But that's a thing people do, right? Buying drinks for strange women?
• Rusty: I've only seen sleazy guys do that.
• Jon: It works in movies.
• Rusty: I've never seen a friend pull that off.
• Jon: Hmmm.
• Rusty: I've seen people pull off the bump.
• Jon: The bump?
• Rusty: Crane's friend Eric says he does this every weekend successfully. You just bump into a girl at a bar and then offer to buy them a drink to make up for it.
• Jon: That seems much harder. You have to make the bump seem believable. Like insurance fraud.
